How does this work for owner operators?
If you are an owner operator, you will not use your own truck when doing Relays orders. You would be able to drive for other carriers using their equipment if they are the ones that placed the orders. Contact Relay Support

Is there a fee to use the app?
Drivers can choose Vetted or Unvetted packages. Both include a monthly fee; vetted includes a one-time setup fee (covers drug test + vetting). Up-to-date pricing is shown during the Registration step in the app. Contact Relay Support
Can I get paid through my business name / LLC?
Yes. Once fully authorized, email support@relayondemand.com and request payment setup under an EIN/LLC/business name. Contact Relay Support
How does instant pay work?
Instant pay lets you deposit funds the same day, usually within a minute or two of initiating the transfer. You can add a valid debit card in Settings under the same-day pay option to enable Instant Pay for your account. Contact Relay Support
How do I get paid?

Who pays for fuel, lumpers, breakdowns?

What is the difference between a Vetted & Unvetted driver?

Is Relay available in my area?

Is Relay 1099 or W2?
It depends on the carrier. Some carriers offer 1099 runs, others offer W2. The carrier determines classification. You can confirm with the carrier before accepting an order what the classification is. Contact Relay Support
What if I'm in a SAP program?
Carriers on the app that place orders can set what their requirements for the orders are. You will see when trying to accept an order if the carrier is SAP friendly. Contact Relay Support
Is there Class B or Class C work?
Relay drivers must have an active CDL A. Most runs are with 53' trailers. Contact Relay Support
How much experience do you need?
There is no experience requirement, but you must have an active CDL A license to be able to activate an account. Contact Relay Support
Do I need to have my own truck?
No. The carrier that placed the order supplies the truck and equipment for the run. You would drive to their yard and use the carrier's equipment. Contact Relay Support
